Security Technician - CCTV Installation and Commissioning

About the role

RIC Electrics, a locally owned and operated electrical services company founded in 1979 in Wagga Wagga, NSW, is looking for an experienced Security Technician. The role covers the installation, repair, testing and commissioning of CCTV and security systems, within a supportive team. The successful candidate must be highly motivated, enthusiastic and able to work unsupervised.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the servicing of customer assets
• Install, repair, test and commission CCTV and security systems
• Build and maintain good relationships with customers
• Work efficiently and communicate effectively with RIC staff and contractors
• Complete tasks to a high standard, following instructions from managers and customers
• Ensure all work meets relevant standards and RIC policies and procedures
• Meet project deadlines and keep regular contact with the manager
• Communicate labour requirements and arrange timely material purchases and delivery
• Ensure WHS compliance according to RIC policies and SWMS

Required profile

• Security licence
• Cabler licence
• Ability to work with little or no supervision
