Security & Concierge Officer (Part-Time)

About the role

AG Security Group, South Australia's largest privately owned security organisation, is looking for Security & Concierge Officers for a part-time role in Adelaide's CBD. The position combines front-of-house concierge service with hands-on security operations: welcoming staff, visitors and contractors, managing access and monitoring CCTV and other security systems with a calm and professional attitude.

Key responsibilities

• Create a warm, professional first impression at reception and help employees, visitors and contractors with enquiries
• Manage visitor sign-in and sign-out, identity checks, access passes and contractor induction requirements
• Carry out scheduled internal, external and perimeter patrols, identifying hazards, defects, suspicious activity and security concerns
• Respond professionally to incidents, emergencies and challenging behaviour, including de-escalation and evacuation support
• Maintain clear, accurate records and complete incident reports, daily logs and service documentation
• Work with AG Security Group, client representatives, emergency services and colleagues
• Follow security, safety, privacy and site procedures while taking ownership of service quality

Required profile

• Current South Australian Security Licence
• Current Australian driver's licence
• Unrestricted work rights in Australia
• Working with Children Check
• A new National Police check is required during onboarding
• Enjoys helping people, takes pride in presentation and moves between concierge service and security duties
• Calm under pressure, observant and able to use sound judgement without constant supervision

• Current First Aid Certification
