Security Officer - Federal Courts

About the role

MSS Security is seeking a reliable, professional and customer-focused Security Officer to work in a court environment in Adelaide. The role suits someone who wants a consistent four-day week in a professional setting. The schedule is a four-day week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday), starting at 7:30 am, with 9.5-hour shifts and 38 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure court environment
• Conduct security screening and access control
• Assist visitors, court staff and members of the public
• Monitor and respond to security incidents
• Conduct patrols and maintain accurate incident reports
• Deliver professional customer service at all times

Required profile

• Current South Australian Security Licence
• Certificate II in Security Operations
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Full Australian working rights

Required skills

• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Professional presentation and customer service skills
• Ability to remain calm in challenging situations
