Relieving Security Officer

MSS Security, one of Australia's leading security companies, is hiring a Relieving Security Officer in South Australia. The role keeps a strong, visible security presence while staying alert, professional and focused, within a customer-focused team. It involves providing excellent service to clients and visitors and building good working relationships with internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly
• Monitor surveillance cameras and equipment
• Authorise the entry of people and vehicles
• Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel and visitors
• Report suspicious behaviour and incidents to supervisors
• Respond to alarms or suspicious noises promptly
• Submit daily surveillance activity reports

Required profile

• Current South Australian security licence and driver's licence
• Certificate II or III in Security Operations
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand or walk for long periods

Required skills

• Excellent observational and surveillance skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
