Security Officer - Brisbane Aviation Facility

About the role

ACESGroup is looking for a professional and reliable Security Officer for a high-profile aviation facility in Brisbane. This is a casual position with weekday hours from 6:00am to 10:00am, Monday to Friday, focused on providing a professional security presence and supporting the safety and security of the facility, its people and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a professional and visible security presence
• Control access and monitor entry to the facility
• Carry out security patrols and routine site checks
• Monitor and report suspicious or unusual activity
• Respond appropriately to incidents and security concerns
• Maintain accurate security logs and incident reports
• Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors and contractors
• Work with site stakeholders and the wider security team, delivering services in line with client requirements and ACESGroup standards

Required profile

• Current Queensland security licence
• Current first aid certificate
• Australian Aviation Security Identification Card, or ability to obtain one
• Availability to work 6:00am to 10:00am, Monday to Friday
• Previous experience in aviation, critical infrastructure or other high-security environments is highly regarded
