Section Waiter - Premium Dining Restaurant

About the role

Cibaria Noosa, a trattoria-style restaurant with dedicated kitchens under one roof, is looking for a Section Waiter. You will deliver exceptional dining experiences while managing your own section during service, working alongside an experienced team in a warm, lively and premium dining environment. The role suits hospitality professionals with previous experience in fine dining, premium hotel restaurants or high-volume upscale venues.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver guest service from arrival through to departure.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and serve food and drinks efficiently.
• Show strong menu knowledge and recommend dishes tailored to guest preferences.
• Manage your own section and build rapport with guests, anticipating their needs.
• Work with the restaurant, bar and kitchen teams during busy service.
• Maintain presentation, cleanliness and operational standards, and follow food safety, hygiene and RSA requirements.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Section Waiter in a premium dining, fine dining, luxury hotel or high-volume restaurant.
• Proven ability to manage a section while delivering excellent guest service.
• Strong food, wine and beverage knowledge and a passion for hospitality.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Professional presentation, strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm and organised at peak times.
• Current RSA certificate.
