About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed secondary teacher to deliver Design Technologies at St Mary’s College. The role involves inspiring students, fostering a love of learning, and bringing subject expertise to the classroom.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver curriculum for Design Technologies, including Food, Textiles, and Wood.
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports student engagement.
- Participate fully in school life, including extracurricular activities and community events.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback aligned with Catholic education values.
Required profile
- Commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic education.
- Relevant graduate or postgraduate qualifications in education or design technologies.
- Registration as a teacher in Tasmania (or ability to obtain it before start date).
- Willingness to undergo child safety checks and contribute to a safe school environment.
