SDET – .NET/C# Automation Engineer (Sydney)

About the role

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong C#/.NET expertise to design, develop and maintain automated testing solutions. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality software through robust test automation, API testing and CI/CD integration within an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts using C# and .NET.
• Create automated tests for UI, API, integration and end‑to‑end scenarios.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners and QA teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
• Perform API testing and automation for RESTful services.
• Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and test data management.
• Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews, defect analysis and root‑cause investigations.
• Continuously improve automation coverage, framework reliability and test execution efficiency.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in automation testing or quality engineering.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on quality, automation and continuous improvement.
• Experience supporting Agile development practices and continuous testing initiatives.
