Scrum Master – Agile Team Leader

About the role

Infosys Consulting is seeking a Scrum Master to serve as a servant‑leader and coach for an Agile team in Sydney. You will guide the team and Product Owner in applying Scrum practices to deliver value to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Scrum team as a servant leader and model the leadership style for the organization.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and ensure artefacts are visible.
• Remove impediments, protect the team from external disruptions, and foster a safe, collaborative environment.
• Partner with the Product Owner to maintain a strong vision, backlog, and cadence.
• Radiate sprint metrics, support continuous improvement, and work with stakeholders to align dependencies.

Required skills

• Familiarity with common Agile practices and enhanced development practices.
• Understanding of software development processes and procedures.
• Knowledge of backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition.
