Scrub Nurse (Registered Nurse)

About the role

St Vincent's Private Hospital Sydney, a premier inner-city private hospital founded in 1857, is recruiting a full-time Scrub Nurse (registered nurse). Part-time is also available. The role suits experienced scrub nurses; it is not suitable to new graduates.

Required profile

• AHPRA registration, Division 1.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Scrub Nurse.
• Demonstrated integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, with critical thinking and analysis in daily practice.
• Strong commitment to clinical care and continued professional development.
• Cardiology, cardiothoracic, orthopaedic and neuro experience highly desired.
• Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or hold an Australian visa granting work rights; visa sponsorship is not available.

Required skills

• Excellent computer literacy and experience with an electronic patient record system is an advantage.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to work within an interdisciplinary team.
• Time management and ability to prioritise competing workloads in a complex environment.

• Pay from $41.58 to $58.40 per hour, plus super depending on experience.
