Care Service Employee - Aged Care

About the role

St Vincent's Care Services Haberfield, a 50-bed residential aged care facility near Sydney's CBD, is looking for a Care Service Employee. This is a permanent part-time position with PM and night shifts available throughout the week, and it suits people who want to provide compassionate, person-centred care that respects each resident's individual needs, preferences and choices.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar role within the aged care sector.
• Certificate III in Individual Support / Certificate III Aged Care or similar qualification is essential.
• Experience working with residents living with dementia is desirable.
• Availability for night and PM shifts.
• Nationally coordinated criminal history check within 6 months; an NDIS worker screening check may also be required.

Required skills

• Ability to use computerised clinical management software such as Autumn Care.
• Ability to follow directives as per the care plan.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
