Science Education Marketing Lead

About the role

Stile, part of Curriculum Associates, is looking for an experienced science teacher who loves to write to be the voice of Stile for Australian science educators. The role brings real classroom credibility to everything said to teachers, heads of science and school leaders, and sits within a team of more than 2,500 employees. It is a full-time, fixed-term role covering parental leave, based in the Melbourne CBD office with a few days a week in the office, and occasional travel for school visits, events and conferences.

Key responsibilities

• Write first-draft campaign copy (EDMs, landing pages, direct mail and thought leadership) that sounds like a teacher and needs only a light edit
• Communicate the value of Stile, explaining new units, features and Stile X through real school needs and running a regular rhythm of communications
• Promote professional learning so schools know what is on offer and how to access it
• Keep core sales and marketing collateral and website science content accurate and current
• Track curriculum reform, state policy, assessment change and research, and measure campaign results

Required profile

• Science teacher who loves communicating ideas, with at least five years of secondary science teaching
• May have been a Head of Science, curriculum leader or learning specialist, or written for teachers in another form
• Teaching with Stile is an advantage
• Deep knowledge of Australian science pedagogy, curriculum and assessment
• Curious about marketing; formal marketing experience is not required
