School Crossing Supervisor (Part-Time)

About the role

HOBAN Recruitment is advertising a part-time School Crossing Supervisor position in Victoria, Broadmeadows. The supervisor helps children, parents and community members cross the road safely, teaches them how to use a crossing safely and provides a courteous service to pedestrians. Hours are rostered at the start or end of school days.

Key responsibilities

• Assist children, families and pedestrians to cross safely at children's crossings and traffic lights
• Report incidents, accidents, near misses and potential risks
• Maintain a high level of awareness and professionalism

Required profile

• Currently holds, or is willing to obtain, a Working with Children Check and a clear police check
• Medically fit
• Able to engage with children, parents, teachers and members of the community
• Driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle (ideal but not necessary)
• Access to a smartphone for timesheets
• Available Monday to Friday, 7:45am to 9:00am and 2:30pm to 4:00pm

What we offer
