School-Based Traineeship - Civil Bayswater

About the role

The Reece Group, which supplies plumbing and bathroom products to plumbers and retail customers, is offering a school-based traineeship at its Civil Bayswater branch, partnered with Murray Mallee Training Company Ltd. Students work towards a Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations, combining work in the branch with certificate requirements such as workbooks, on-the-job training and assessments. Year 10 students can apply all year round; Year 11 students can apply from January until the end of term 2.

Key responsibilities

• Follow Reece's values, policies and procedures
• Provide customer service and communicate with customers and staff
• Complete all requirements of the certificate, including workbooks, on-the-job training and assessments
• Process sales and manage stock
• Answer the phone to take messages and orders
• Build product knowledge and follow up with customers
• Contribute to keeping the branch at a high standard

• Saturday availability; about 1.5 days per week, with extra hours during school holidays recommended
