SAP BTP Integration Consultant (Contract) – Australia

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Integration Consultant on a 6‑month contract to support our Australian operations. The role focuses on designing, building and optimizing integration solutions using SAP Business Technology Platform and related services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement integration flows with SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) using adapters such as HTTPS, SFTP, IDoc, RFC, SOAP and REST.
• Develop and maintain message mappings employing graphical tools, XSLT, Java or Groovy.
• Manage API lifecycle, governance and security policies including OAuth2, JWT, SAML and mTLS.
• Architect and configure asynchronous, decoupled integrations leveraging SAP Event Mesh (topics, queues, subscriptions).
• Collaborate on enterprise event choreography and support legacy SAP PI/PO integrations.

Required profile

• Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to commit to a 6‑month contract with possible extension.

Required skills

• SAP BTP and Integration Suite knowledge.
• SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) expertise.
• iFlow design using HTTPS, SFTP, IDoc, RFC, SOAP, REST adapters.
• Message mapping (Graphical, XSLT, Java, Groovy).
• API Management and security (OAuth2, JWT, SAML, mTLS).
• SAP Event Mesh concepts (topics, queues, subscriptions).
• Experience with SAP PI/PO.
