Salesforce CRM Developer

About the role

HCF IT Leaders is looking for a Salesforce CRM developer who will coordinate and execute the analysis of system requirements for new or enhanced systems, and deliver the design, development, testing, implementation and support of applications within project and IT delivery plans. The role covers both project and maintenance work, with accountability for the software quality of the development team.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse system requirements for new or enhanced systems and provide estimates
• Work with business users, analysts, solution architects and others to understand needs
• Design, develop, test, implement and support applications, and troubleshoot production problems and maintenance issues
• Monitor work during development to ensure resource use and schedule adherence
• Challenge existing processes to drive efficiency and technology delivery performance
• Coordinate high-quality technical documentation and manuals
• Manage server and client builds for releases, working with testing, infrastructure and release teams
• Ensure QA and UAT activities support solution quality

Required profile

• Minimum 6-10 years in a professional technical lead role for Salesforce CRM platform development, covering the full application stack on Financial Cloud (Sales and Services Cloud)
• 3+ years of project experience with packaged software or custom CRM implementations using Salesforce Sales and Services Cloud
• Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Experience across all stages of the development lifecycle, in an Agile/DevOps environment
• Proven track record of mentoring staff and building a strong team, and of negotiating with internal and external clients

• Sales and Service Cloud (mandatory)
• Event-based development and integration patterns for Salesforce CRM (mandatory)
• Einstein Analytics (mandatory)
• Custom development on Force.com with Apex, VisualForce and Lightning components, and data migration (mandatory)
• CI/CD and data migration techniques (mandatory)
• Integration with Marketing Cloud and Tableau preferred
• One or more Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Developer, Sales/Service Cloud, Advanced Administrator) highly desirable
