Sales Representative – Welding Products (Cairns, QLD)

About the role

Join South Pacific Welding Group PT as a Sales Representative based in Cairns, Queensland. You will be responsible for growing the market for welding products across the Greater Far North QLD region, working closely with on‑site teams and the broader SPW/BOC network.

Key responsibilities

• Win new and competitor welding product business within the Greater Far North QLD region.
• Identify and quickly close small wins while managing longer, higher‑value and complex sales cycles.
• Effectively manage your opportunity pipeline to meet KPIs and sales targets.
• Develop and execute sales strategies that deliver an excellent client journey.
• Understand the competitive landscape, customer objectives and market influences to position SPW’s value proposition.
• Collaborate with on‑site colleagues and the wider SPW/BOC business to amplify overall strategy impact.

Required profile

• Strong safety leadership skills.
• Sound knowledge of welding products and their applications.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities and understanding of price and margin management.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to build relationships with customers, suppliers and team members.
• Strong negotiation skills and a results‑driven attitude.
