Sales Leader - Ticketing & Entertainment

About the role

A prominent Melbourne-based touring and events company, known for producing large-scale live events around the country, is urgently looking for a sales leader. The role supports the Co-Founders and takes full ownership of the company's sales strategy, team performance, sales process and new growth opportunities. It suits someone with a solid network of contacts and proven experience in live music, events or entertainment.

Key responsibilities

• Increase ticket and event sales across digital channels (paid and organic)
• Work with the Founders to improve ticket sales, customer conversion, lead generation and revenue
• Set and monitor team and individual sales targets, and coach and develop staff
• Test and implement new sales channels and revenue opportunities
• Analyse sales data and customer behaviour to find trends and opportunities
• Improve sales processes, scripts, follow-up systems, reporting and customer management
• Manage the sales team's behaviour, productivity and accountability, and build a high-performance culture
• Monitor leads and pipelines, and help recruit, onboard and develop more sales staff

Required profile

• Lives in Melbourne and has full working rights
• Minimum 4+ years' experience in a sales-focused role
• Proven experience managing a sales team or juniors
• Local network of contacts and clients, and knowledge of local entertainment brands
• Experience in high-performing teams and a passion for the work
