Sales Development Representative

About the role

We are looking for a confident and proactive Sales Development Representative to engage business owners and directors, generate qualified appointments and build genuine conversations with both warm and cold prospects. You will receive structured sales training and coaching while developing professional prospecting skills.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high‑volume outbound prospecting to organisations of 10–200 employees using automated dialing systems.
• Engage warm and cold prospects through consultative telephone conversations and identify business challenges.
• Qualify prospects, assess interest and schedule appointments for further discussions.
• Accurately record calls, follow‑ups and prospect information in spreadsheets and CRM tools.
• Participate actively in sales training, coaching and continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Previous experience in outbound sales, appointment setting, lead generation or similar customer‑facing roles.
• Strong professional communication with business owners, directors or senior decision‑makers.
• Ability to meet call, conversation and appointment‑setting targets.
• Resilient, comfortable handling rejection and maintaining a positive attitude.
• Coachable and eager to develop skills through structured training.

Required skills

• Proficiency with email and Microsoft Excel (or similar spreadsheet applications).
• Experience using automated dialing and prospecting systems.
• Familiarity with HubSpot or comparable CRM platforms.
• LinkedIn prospecting experience.
• Ability to manage outreach and follow‑up communications effectively.
