Sales Consultant – Hygiene Services

About the role

Rentokil Initial is seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to drive growth for its Hygiene division across the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane area. You will manage your own territory, build relationships with existing clients, and acquire new accounts for a range of hygiene services.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and expand the existing client base by analysing needs and upselling services.
• Generate new business through cold calling, networking and site visits.
• Conduct site audits to ensure service standards are met.
• Prepare tailored proposals, including product, service and cost options.
• Collaborate with operations to resolve client issues and ensure satisfaction.
• Document all customer interactions in company systems.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends, reporting insights to management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in external account management or sales within a similar industry.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and excellent communication skills.
• Confidence in cold calling and driving new business.
• Ability to balance field activity with timely client responses.
• Organisational and time‑management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
• Willingness to undergo pre‑employment medical, drug/alcohol screening and background checks.
