Sales Consultant – Furniture Retail

About the role

Join Plush in Bendigo as a Sales Consultant, where you will use your product knowledge and relationship‑building skills to help customers find the perfect sofa while driving your own earnings. This role blends customer service with sales performance in a dynamic showroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a premium customer experience that positions Plush as the top choice for sofas.
• Achieve and exceed daily and weekly sales targets, with commission directly linked to performance.
• Process sales orders accurately and efficiently.
• Promote room solutions and add‑on items to increase average transaction value.
• Collaborate with the Showroom Manager on visual merchandising and pricing to optimise sales.

Required profile

• Previous sales experience, preferably in furniture or other high‑value categories (e.g., cars, jewellery, luxury goods, travel).
• Energetic, positive attitude and ability to stay enthusiastic during peak periods.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to build trust with customers and colleagues.
• Openness to feedback and a passion for continuous improvement.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
