Safety Advisor - Regional NSW Infrastructure Project

About the role

ACCIONA is hiring a Safety Advisor for a regional NSW infrastructure project. You will be the trusted safety partner for the project team and site workforce, coaching supervisors, challenging unsafe practices and helping leaders make sound risk decisions before work starts. The project covers a wide range of construction activities from early works through to final completion.

Key responsibilities

• Advise project leaders on safety risks and practical controls
• Coach supervisors and crews to lead safe work on site
• Review safe work method statements and risk assessments with work teams
• Investigate incidents, find root causes and close out corrective actions
• Run site inspections and audits to verify safety compliance
• Monitor subcontractor safety performance and lift standards where needed

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety, or higher
• Current NSW White Card and a valid driver's licence
• Proven safety advisory experience in construction or civil work
• Knowledge of NSW WHS legislation and clear, confident communication
