Roster Coordinator

About the role

Due to continued business growth, Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) is looking for a Roster Coordinator for its Gunnedah branch. The role manages workforce scheduling, maintenance planning, shutdown coordination and operational logistics, and suits someone with strong problem-solving skills, clear communication and the ability to handle many priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain workforce rosters using ShiftPlanner
• Schedule labour for maintenance activities, major shutdowns, emergency breakdowns and ad hoc requirements
• Create and manage work orders and purchase orders
• Coordinate tooling, equipment and vehicle requirements
• Manage DIDO travel and workforce logistics
• Prepare labour allocation and shutdown reports
• Maintain scheduling documentation and operational spreadsheets
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, field technicians, supervisors and customers to ensure seamless service delivery
