Rooms Division Manager

About the role

Minor Hotels is launching NH Collection in Sydney and seeks a Rooms Division Manager to lead the pre‑opening team and oversee the entire Rooms Division from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Concierge and Guest Services operations.
• Drive guest satisfaction through personalised service and effective service recovery.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness, presentation and overall hotel appearance.
• Manage room revenue performance, occupancy and departmental costs.
• Conduct regular quality reviews and implement initiatives to enhance the guest experience.
• Coach and develop department leaders and team members to build a high‑performing culture.
• Support pre‑opening activities including recruitment, training, operational setup and service delivery planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Rooms Division Manager, Front Office Manager or senior hotel operations leader.
• Background in premium, luxury or lifestyle hotel environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing revenue, labour costs and budgets.
• Track record of leading and developing large operational teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.

• Hands‑on management style with ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience with pre‑opening hotel projects (highly regarded).
