Room Attendant

About the role

The Como Melbourne is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to join its Housekeeping team. You will ensure each guest room is immaculate, comfortable, and ready for a memorable stay in our boutique hotel located on Chapel Street.

Key responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, and wiping down surfaces.
• Maintain and restock housekeeping trolleys, keeping supplies organized and readily available.
• Use cleaning materials safely and follow all health‑and‑safety protocols.
• Respect guest privacy and security at all times.
• Report any maintenance issues promptly to ensure a flawless guest experience.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a cleaner or room attendant is a plus.
• Warm, welcoming communication style that makes guests and teammates feel at home.
• Strong eye for detail, efficient time management, and pride in work quality.
• Physically able to navigate internal and external staircases and walk between rooms.
• Collaborative attitude and ability to work with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
