Return To Work Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Return To Work Consultant to join Marsh's Workers Compensation team in Brisbane. This hybrid position requires at least three days per week in the office and offers the chance to support injured workers, build stakeholder relationships, and contribute to positive return‑to‑work outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform outsourced Return to Work Coordinator functions, managing the return‑to‑work process for injured workers, including triaging and lodging new claims promptly.
• Develop and maintain tailored return‑to‑work plans, ensuring compliance with employer obligations and best practice.
• Liaise with injured workers, employers, insurers and other stakeholders to share updates, gather information and address concerns.
• Review claims to assess progress and recommend actions that support recovery and return to work.
• Administer injury management software, prepare reports and maintain accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Experience in claims management functions at an insurer or employer.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills with a focus on accuracy.
• Proactive approach to managing tasks and identifying opportunities.
• Confidence in making decisions and evaluating options effectively.
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities during busy periods.
