Retail Pharmacist – Full‑time in Woodford

About the role

Our client, a registered pharmacy chain in Woodford, Queensland, is looking for a full‑time Retail Pharmacist. You will deliver high‑quality pharmacy services, collaborate with healthcare professionals and ensure safe medication use for the community.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medicines in compliance with the Pharmacy Board of Australia and National Health Act.
• Provide patient counselling, health information and primary health‑care services.
• Conduct medication reviews, dose administration aids, opioid substitution therapy and disease‑management support.
• Document clinical interventions using GuildCare software and prevent medication errors.
• Prepare PBS and Medicare claims and manage staged supply services.
• Supervise Pharmacy Technicians, interns and sales assistants, and oversee stock management, including expiry checks and temperature monitoring.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of medications, legislation and quality‑care standards.

Required profile

• Successful completion of a Bachelor of Pharmacy.
• Current general registration with AHPRA.
• At least 12 months experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GuildCare pharmacy software.

What we offer

• Annual salary between $77,000 and $97,000 plus superannuation.
