Retail Performance & Value Management Lead

About the role

As the Retail Performance & Value Management Lead at ING, you will sit at the centre of critical business decisions, partnering with senior leaders across Product, Finance, Treasury, Risk and Technology to optimise performance, influence investment decisions and drive sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead retail strategy, investment prioritisation and business planning to shape the future direction of the Retail Bank.
• Drive forecasting, planning and commercial performance analysis across deposits, mortgages, profitability, growth and balance sheet optimisation.
• Develop strategic insights, business cases and scenario modelling to support executive decision‑making and investment choices.
• Track business case performance, benefits realisation and strategic initiatives to ensure sustainable value.
• Influence business direction through executive and board reporting and lead Retail‑wide communications such as town halls and newsletters.

Required profile

• Significant experience in banking, strategy consulting, commercial management, corporate strategy or business leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of retail banking performance drivers, pricing, profitability, financial management, balance sheet dynamics and funding.
• Advanced analytical, financial modelling and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to influence senior executives.
• Strategic and commercial mindset combined with strong execution, prioritisation and results‑delivery track record.
