Retail Media Creative Specialist

About the role

Kmart Australia is looking for a Retail Media Creative Specialist to develop high-quality creative assets that support advertiser campaigns and enhance the customer experience across Kmart and Target. Working closely with the Retail Media Sales, Campaign Operations and Marketing teams, you turn campaign briefs into creative solutions, from template-based executions to new concepts, delivering work efficiently and in line with brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts and campaign assets across in-store, onsite and offsite retail media channels
• Translate campaign briefs into engaging customer-facing creative
• Create and refine copy and visual concepts aligned with campaign objectives
• Produce static, rich media and basic motion creative assets
• Build and maintain creative templates and reusable design components
• Adapt and resize creative assets across channels and formats
• Keep creative aligned with Kmart and Target brand guidelines
• Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver campaigns on time and to brief
• Maintain organised asset libraries and creative specifications, and identify ways to improve workflows and reduce rework

Required profile

• 3+ years' experience in creative production, design, media, marketing or advertising
• Experience creating digital campaign creative across multiple channels and formats
• Experience developing templates, adapting assets and producing production-ready creative
• Ability to balance creativity with execution in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma or similar creative platforms
• Copywriting tailored to different audiences and placements
• Basic motion and video editing for digital or paid media
• Understanding of brand guidelines and creative quality assurance
• Stakeholder management, organisation and project management
