About the role

Join the Restaurants and Bars Team at a five‑star luxury resort on Hayman Island. You will welcome guests, recommend food and beverages, and deliver exceptional service that creates memorable dining experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide personalized food and drink recommendations.
• Take and process orders accurately, confirming details with guests.
• Upsell menu items and handle guest queries professionally.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout service areas.
• Manage stock, rotate perishable items, and ensure proper inventory control.
• Set up and pack down venues efficiently for each service.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, professional team player with a passion for guest service.
• Confident in exceeding guest expectations through proactive, personalized service.
• Friendly demeanor with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well‑presented, fluent in English, and able to interact positively with guests and colleagues.
• Valid Queensland RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.
