Restaurant Manager – Angourie Resort

About the role

We are seeking a passionate, hands‑on Restaurant Manager to lead the front‑of‑house operation at Tides Kitchen & Bar, the signature dining venue at Angourie Resort. Reporting to the Head of Food & Beverage, you will drive exceptional guest experiences across the restaurant, café, kiosk and bar.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all front‑of‑house operations across Tides Kitchen & Bar, the café, kiosk and bar outlets.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences that generate positive reviews, repeat visitation and loyalty.
• Train, mentor and develop a high‑performing front‑of‑house team and create a positive, service‑focused culture.
• Develop and manage rosters aligned to business demand and labour budgets.
• Manage ordering and stock control for the kiosk, café and beverage operations.
• Oversee bar operations, ensuring RSA compliance and beverage standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and Head of Food & Beverage to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve service standards, efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience as a Restaurant Manager, Venue Manager or Lead Food & Beverage role.
• Strong front‑of‑house experience in a restaurant, hotel, resort or similar hospitality venue.
• Outstanding people leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate and develop teams.
• Experience managing rosters and labour costs.
• Current RSA certification.
• Availability to work a Tuesday‑to‑Saturday roster, including daytime and evening shifts.
