Resource Facility Operator

About the role

Cleanaway is adding a new Resource Facility Operator to its client site in Willawong, Queensland. This is a permanent, full-time, customer-facing role supporting resource recovery, item separation and recycling. The position starts early in the morning, pays $48.88 per hour plus overtime, and offers uniforms and PPE and induction and training.

Key responsibilities

• Answer customers' questions and give them direction and assistance where needed
• Promote resource recovery, item separation and recycling while being supportive and considerate of customers
• Work on a 4 days on, 4 days off rotating roster

Required profile

• Ability to work full time on a 4-on-4-off rotating roster
• Capacity to work independently or collaboratively within a team
• Well-developed communication skills
• Ability to connect with customers from diverse backgrounds
• Willingness to take a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test
