Residential Designer – Single & Double Storey Homes

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Designer to create high‑quality design sketches for single and double‑storey residential projects. You will work closely with sales consultants, estimators and construction teams to deliver functional, innovative, and cost‑effective home designs.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate, high‑quality design sketches that meet company standards and client requirements.
• Develop functional and innovative designs for single and double‑storey homes within project timelines.
• Collaborate with sales consultants and internal stakeholders to resolve design and construction challenges.
• Partner with the estimating team to ensure designs are cost‑effective without compromising quality or buildability.
• Maintain focus on design efficiency, construction feasibility, and customer satisfaction throughout the design process.

Required profile

• Experience working for a project or custom home builder.
• Positive, self‑motivated attitude with strong communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of local building codes and standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in residential design principles and drafting.
• Understanding of construction feasibility and cost‑management.
