Resident Experience Manager – Build-to-Rent

About the role

Essence Communities is seeking a Resident Experience Manager to shape the day‑to‑day experience for residents in its Build‑to‑Rent portfolio. Working closely with the General Manager and operations team, you will create a vibrant community where residents feel a true sense of belonging.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging events, initiatives and experiences that foster community connection.
• Build and maintain relationships with residents, local businesses and service partners to enhance lifestyle offerings.
• Manage resident communication platforms, encourage participation and continuously improve satisfaction scores.
• Identify opportunities to boost resident retention, occupancy and ancillary revenue streams.
• Collaborate with operations, marketing and leadership to develop innovative resident‑experience strategies.

Required profile

• Energetic relationship builder with a passion for creating memorable customer experiences.
• Organised, proactive and comfortable connecting with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience in customer experience, hospitality, events, community management, Build‑to‑Rent, hotels or premium residential environments.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid Cert IV in Real Estate Practice (VIC) and unrestricted working rights in Australia.

Required skills

• Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice (VIC).
• Valid National Police Check.
