Reservations Manager

About the role

Lead the Reservations Department at Flagstaff Gardens Hotel, driving occupancy, revenue and exceptional guest service across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Set policies, monitor enquiries via phone, email, website and third‑party channels.
• Manage inventory and room allocations to maximise occupancy and revenue.
• Recruit, train, coach and review a team of reservation agents.
• Partner with Operations, Sales, Marketing and Revenue on pricing strategies, promotions and packages.
• Analyse reservation data, report performance against budget and forecast.
• Resolve escalated guest issues and keep reservation systems optimised.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a reservations or similar hotel role.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to coach and motivate a team.
• Sound commercial judgement and confidence in forecasting, budgets and data analysis.
• Clear, confident communication and a customer‑first approach.
• Resilience and ability to make timely decisions under pressure.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hotel operating systems such as Opera.
• Knowledge of iVvy reservation platform.
