Research Project Coordinator - Justice in Health

About the role

The Research Project Coordinator will lead the Justice in Health project, coordinating research that strengthens primary care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in prison and after release. This 0.8 FTE part‑time, 4‑year fixed‑term role is based at the Campbelltown campus with flexible working arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project delivery across university, prison and Aboriginal community settings, managing governance, stakeholder and steering committee activities.
• Oversee participant recruitment, surveys, clinical audits, data collection, analysis and research data management.
• Maintain project and financial records, support funding documentation and supervise research staff.
• Build productive relationships with investigators, health services, community partners and participants.

Required profile

• A degree in health, public health, research or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in research project coordination and management across multiple settings.
• Experience in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, research or community engagement.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to manage competing priorities and handle sensitive information.
