Remote Control Operator

About the role

Gransolar Group is seeking a Remote Control Operator to monitor and manage the performance of utility‑scale solar photovoltaic (PV) plants and battery energy storage systems (BESS) from a central control centre. The role is fully remote and supports projects worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor solar PV and BESS assets via SCADA or equivalent control platforms.
• Detect anomalies, respond to alarms, and execute corrective actions remotely or coordinate on‑site interventions.
• Analyse production data, verify meteorological sensor recordings, and confirm device operating modes.
• Collaborate with field technicians, maintenance crews, and external contractors to schedule preventive and corrective tasks.
• Prepare regular performance reports covering energy output, efficiency, system health, and incident summaries.

Required profile

• Technical Engineer degree or higher, specialised in Electrical engineering.
• Ability to work rotating shift schedules.
• No prior experience required, but familiarity with Remote Control Centre (RCC) operations is preferred.
