Relationship Manager - ACT Territory

About the role

Ingram Micro, a technology distributor serving the global IT sales channel, is hiring a Relationship Manager for the ACT territory. The role drives revenue growth, partner acquisition and strategic account development, building executive and operational relationships with partners and vendors, and delivering profitable growth through the Ingram Micro portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute account growth plans that increase revenue, expand share of wallet and secure net new business.
• Identify, qualify and convert new business opportunities and maintain a healthy pipeline across short, medium and long terms.
• Run regular business reviews with partners and drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
• Build strategic relationships with partner, customer and vendor stakeholders and represent Ingram Micro in partner-facing sales and business development.
• Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline and account planning through approved CRM systems.
• Collaborate with internal sales, vendor and specialist teams and support operations to keep a high standard of customer experience.

Required profile

• Experience working with partners that service Federal Government and/or Defence customers is ideal.
• Understanding of Commonwealth procurement environments and government technology programs.
• Established network within the ACT technology ecosystem.
• Experience developing opportunities involving secure, sovereign or government-focused technology solutions.

Required skills

• Strategic relationship management and account planning focused on share of wallet and profitability.
• Pipeline, opportunity and forecast management with a disciplined approach to sales execution.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of the Australian IT channel ecosystem and Federal Government and Defence market dynamics.
