Relationship Credit Assistant Manager

About the role

Join ANZ's Specialized Agribusiness Team as a Relationship Credit Assistant Manager. Working closely with a Relationship Credit Manager, you will support a portfolio of corporate‑level agribusiness customers across Queensland, delivering tailored credit solutions and superior service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Relationship Credit Manager in preparing credit papers, financial monitoring reports, and loan contract documentation.
• Maintain a well‑managed portfolio that complies with all relevant policies and procedures.
• Control workflows across compliance and customer fulfilment processes.
• Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of customers' business and financial needs.
• Provide appropriate solutions for account maintenance and customer requests.
• Collaborate with Product Partners and other stakeholders to meet customer requirements.

Required profile

• Prior experience in commercial banking frontline roles, commercial lending, accountancy, insolvency, corporate advisory or funds management.
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing agreements and contracts.
• Ability to assess a customer's creditworthiness using both qualitative and quantitative factors.
• Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate documentation.
• Familiarity with risk management concepts, especially credit and market risk.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as KYC and AML.
• Collaborative team player.
