Reinforcing Design Engineer (Perth, WA)

About the role

InfraBuild Reinforcing, a 2026 AFR BOSS Best Places to Work Gold Winner and World Steel Association Sustainability Champion, is looking for a Reinforcing Solutions Engineer in Perth. Reporting to the State Sales Manager, the engineer uses AS 3600 reinforced and post-tensioned concrete design expertise to promote InfraBuild's products, processes and services across the construction industry, with a focus on sustainability, long-term profitability and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage AS 3600 design expertise to identify and facilitate market entry of InfraBuild products, processes and services
• Partner with direct customers to embed InfraBuild products and services throughout the project life cycle
• Seek opportunities to expand market penetration and use market knowledge to shape product planning and go-to-market activities
• Prepare and deliver technical documents and presentations for customers
• Work with Trade and Innovation, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain and Finance teams

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil/Structural)
• Minimum 5 years' experience in reinforced and post-tension concrete design
• Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder engagement and management
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to document market solutions and strategic proposals for senior leadership
• Technical delivery management and leadership, managing multiple projects of varying scope and complexity
