Rehabilitation Medicine Locum Physician

About the role

Bayside Health Peninsula is seeking a Locum Rehabilitation Medicine Physician to work across its acute and subacute campuses. The position is based where departmental need dictates, which could include the Golf Links Road Rehabilitation Unit, Peninsula University Hospital and Rosebud Hillview Rehabilitation. It is open to Bayside Health Peninsula Care Group employees, who must apply through employee login.

Key responsibilities

• Work as a locum rehabilitation physician across acute and subacute campuses
• Work with a multidisciplinary team with accredited rehabilitation registrar support
• Deliver clinical care in line with contemporary, evidence-based practice

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent degree
• General registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA without reprimands
• Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (FAFRM)
• Track record and experience in clinical management
• Understanding of relevant legislation pertaining to Medical Officers

Required skills

• Sound clinical knowledge, skills and experience in contemporary medical and evidence-based practice
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary clinical team
• Teaching skills
• Patient safety and quality review knowledge and skills
