Rehabilitation Consultant (OT, EO or Physio)

About the role

Altius, a workplace health and wellbeing provider founded in 2001, is hiring a Rehabilitation Consultant in its Launceston office. You will help people who have been injured, ill or disabled recover and regain independence, improving their quality of life and reintegration into the community and the workforce. The position is full-time, hybrid and pays AUD 80,000-100,000.

Key responsibilities

• Develop personalised rehabilitation plans using a whole-of-person approach
• Complete assessments such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments and Activities of Daily Living Assessments
• Identify return-to-work pathways aligned with likely recovery milestones
• Use clinical experience and injury management knowledge to assess claimants and support their return to work
• Work with clients, their families, insurers, employers and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological and social factors
• Present case information and give credible recommendations to stakeholders

Required profile

• AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist, or ESSA registration as an Exercise Physiologist
• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology
• Current driver's licence and access to your own transport
• Full Australian working rights
