Rehabilitation Consultant - Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist

About the role

IPAR is a national occupational rehabilitation provider supporting people living with illness, disability or injury, helping them return to health and back to work. Its Adelaide team is growing and is seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant with a professional background in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology. The role offers flexibility and autonomy, with a manageable caseload supported by Rehabilitation Assistants.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clients with physical and psychological conditions, supporting their return to health and return to work
• Liaise with employers, case managers, medical professionals and insurers to share clinical updates and align rehabilitation goals
• Work across schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare and the Department of Veterans' Affairs
• Conduct ADL assessments to evaluate functional abilities and support needs at home or in the community, and recommend equipment, home modifications or support services
• Prepare timely reports with findings, recommendations and clinical reasoning

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology
• Full AHPRA registration, or full ESSA EP accreditation or eligibility to obtain it after graduation
• Previous experience in occupational rehabilitation is highly regarded but not essential; new graduates are welcome
• Current South Australian driver's licence and access to a car with comprehensive insurance
