About the role

Riverside House, a 30-bed aged person's mental health unit at Berengarra in Kew, is looking for an experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurse (Grade 2) to care for residents with behavioural and psychological needs. Two fixed-term, part-time positions (0.63 and 0.84 FTE) are available until May 2027. Classifications run from NP21 to NP70, with a pro rata annual salary of $84,188 to $107,484.

• Develop clinical skills and progress your career while caring for a diverse range of residents

Required profile

• Previous experience in aged mental health nursing or dementia care
• Commitment to patient-centred care and to the complex, varied needs of the resident population
• Current Nursing Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA
• Understanding of relevant legislation, principles and practice of aged psychiatry, and of the Commonwealth Aged Care Standards
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one
• Meeting the Victorian government COVID-19 vaccination direction for healthcare workers
