Registered Nurse Team Lead (Onsite)

About the role
Sonic HealthPlus is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead its onsite clinic in Pannawonica, Western Australia. This part‑time, fixed‑term position combines hands‑on clinical care with team leadership, operational oversight, and emergency response within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and support clinic staff in daily operations.
- Coordinate rostering, training, and performance support.
- Deliver occupational health assessments and a range of medical screenings.
- Conduct audiometry, spirometry, drug and alcohol testing, ECGs, venepuncture and specimen collection.
- Support emergency response requirements and coordinate medical evacuations when needed.
- Maintain clinical governance, quality systems, infection control and cold‑chain management.
- Manage clinic equipment, maintenance schedules and stock control.
- Build strong relationships with clients, patients and community stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate reporting, documentation and compliance with company procedures.
Required profile
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience in occupational health and/or general practice.
- Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills.
- Immunisation Certificate and Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Current National Police Clearance.
- Desirable: supervisory/management experience, rural and remote nursing experience, Paediatric Life Support, PHTLS or TNCC, burns management training, WorkCover WA baseline audiometry qualification, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
