Registered Nurse – Residential Aged Care

About the role

St Vincent's Care Services Eltham, a residential aged care facility about 20 km north-east of Melbourne, is looking for a Registered Nurse to work alongside residents, families and other professionals so that their health and clinical needs and informed choices are met. The position is casual, and strong shift availability is essential.

Required profile

• Nursing registration with AHPRA is essential.
• 2+ years of nursing practice, with residential aged care experience highly regarded.
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC); NDIS worker screening check may be required.
• Strong leadership, customer service and communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) and the ability to keep excellent records.
• Understanding of aged care, resident rights and responsibilities, and the ability to follow the care plan.
