Registered Nurse / Registered Midwife

About the role

Cabrini Health, a Catholic private health service in Melbourne's southeast, is hiring Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives for ongoing full-time positions across its Malvern, Brighton and Elsternwick sites. The roles cover clinical areas including midwifery and maternity services, surgical and medical, cath lab and perioperative services. Nurses and midwives practice independently and interdependently, taking accountability for their own actions and delegating care to enrolled nurses and healthcare workers.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Deliver care to patients to meet the organisation's goals
• Attend to the needs of patients and families while maintaining privacy, dignity and confidentiality

Required profile

• AHPRA registration as a nurse or eligibility assessment for international candidates
• Bachelor of Nursing degree
• One year of relevant clinical experience is essential
• Commitment to quality patient care and outcomes, and ability to work within the organisation's mission and values
• Team spirit, excellent customer service focus and communication skills

What we offer

• Salary of AUD 80k to 98k plus superannuation depending on years of experience
• Salary packaging of up to AUD 15,900 tax-free each year
• Ongoing full-time positions in three Melbourne locations
