Registered Nurse - Oncology/Haematology Day Unit

About the role

Calvary North Adelaide Hospital is looking for a registered nurse to join its Oncology/Haematology Day Unit at Kimberley House. As a cancer nurse you will work with patients and their carers and with other members of the health care team, supported by a dedicated Oncology/Haematology Nurse Educator, in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with a variety of oncology and haematology conditions
• Work within a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment
• Deliver a consistently high level of care
• Take part in quality activities at unit level

Required profile

• Currently registered with AHPRA
• Oncology/hematology nursing background with demonstrated clinical competence
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team

Required skills

• Completed eviQ ADAC competencies version 4, or working towards them
• CVAD management and cannulation
