Registered Nurse - Office Based Role

About the role

Pop-Up Health is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse for an office-based position in Adelaide. The role supports the delivery of in-home care for NDIS, private, brokerage and DVA clients, working with a team of registered and enrolled nurses in case coordination through the Sandwai software platform. Candidates must be available to work shifts across a 7-day roster.

Key responsibilities

• Pack wound boxes, unpack stock and maintain consumables in the wound room.
• Provide customer service: answer calls, handle complaints, solve problems and give clinical advice within scope, escalating to the Clinical Manager or Team Leader when needed.
• Monitor complaints, incidents and deteriorations in Sandwai and respond to them promptly, escalating as required.
• Complete client assessments and triage referrals through the referral inbox so onboarding documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Create client service plans and care plans for home visits, and prepare documentation for the initial visit.
• Liaise with existing clients, monitor their feedback and support field nurses with queries or concerns.
• Complete road shifts as required and provide clinical advice to road employees.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration.
• 3-5 years' experience as a Registered Nurse; community nursing experience desired.
• National police clearance, NDIS and WWCC clearances, and First Aid, CPR and Manual Handling certification.
• Current driver's licence.

• Competent computer skills.
• Excellent clinical and risk assessment skills.
• Ability to recognise deterioration in cognition, mobility and nutrition and implement strategies to return clients to baseline function.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, autonomously and within a team, with strong organisation and time management.
