Registered Nurse / Midwife - Special Care Nursery

About the role

Cabrini Malvern is recruiting a casual Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife for its Special Care Nursery (SCN), a 10-cot unit for babies born from 32 weeks' gestation. The unit provides non-invasive respiratory support (CPAP) but no invasive support. The ideal candidate delivers autonomous neonatal nursing care with sound clinical judgement, working independently while collaborating in a multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

• AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife
• Victorian Working with Children Check (mandatory)
• Postgraduate qualification in SCN or NICU (mandatory)
• Current experience in a neonatal unit
• Experience caring for babies on non-invasive respiratory support (CPAP) is desirable
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster and ability to work autonomously
